On February the 27th, 2023 from 12.00 to 16.00
At Grundfos Holding A/S, Poul Due Jensen Vej 7, 8850 Bjerringbro.
The Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen and Danish Thai Business Network (Dan Thai Net) cordially invite you, to attend our inspiring business meeting at Grundfos to empower you with the latest information on business and investments opportunities within Thailand and its Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Project, the Board of Investments (BOI)of Thailand and Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy Model.
For more than 400 years Thailand and Denmark have a long history of doing business. In recent years Thailand has become one of the most promising countries in Asia to invest and start new businesses. Being the natural hub in Asia, having formed Government backed initiatives via i.e., the Eastern Economic Corridor Project, the potentials for Danish businesses in Thailand are now more immense than ever.
Through a new set of beneficial business guidelines and tax initiatives, the Eastern Economic Corridor Project, which is less than 2-hours’ drive away from Bangkok, provides a strategic location, comprehensive infrastructure, skillful labor forces and a bracket of incentive packages and privileges.
By 2036 Thailand wants to achieve high-income status, via a special focus on Intelligent Electronics, Automation and Robotics, Next-generation Automotive, Food for the Future, Aviation and Logistics, Digital, High-Value and Medical Tourism and Comprehensive Healthcare, Defense, Advanced Agriculture and Biotechnology, Biofuel and Biochemicals, Education and Human Resource Development and a Brand-New Smart City Project that will transform Thailand into an innovative and value-based nation.
Furthermore, Phuket is a candidate to host the Specialised Expo 2028 under the theme “Future of Life: Living in Harmony, Sharing Prosperity”, focusing on a strong, sustainable and resilient future living for all. This will also be a great opportunity for Danish companies to promote themselves in the region.
Based on Thailand’s strengths in robust agricultural activities, rich natural resources, and diversity in terms of both biological resources and physical geography, the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) economic model is applied to focus on promoting four industries – namely agriculture and food; medical and wellness; bioenergy, biomaterial and biochemical; and tourism and creative economy.
Lastly but most importantly, today Thailand exports $22.8 billions worth of goods to the European Union, a figure that will increase as Thailand and EU have recently announced that they will restart negotiations over a Free Trade agreement (FTA) in March 2023.
A major step forward for Thailand and therefor also for Danish businesses investing in Thailand.
Therefore, a warm welcome to an inspiring afternoon at Grundfos, where you will be provided with the right instruments and factual knowledge sharing to pave the foundation for your future growth and investments in Thailand – The Prime Gateway to Asia.
